Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Answers for API buyers, device hosts, wallet users and anyone evaluating the MineAPI network.
Accounts and roles
Do API buyers and device owners need separate accounts?
No. MineAPI uses one community account. The same account can buy API Credit, create API keys, host one or more devices, receive inference income and collect MMGA rewards.
Is Google sign-in available?
The frontend includes email/password and Google sign-in previews. Both are currently Mock flows and do not perform real identity verification.
Supported devices
Is MineAPI limited to NVIDIA GPUs?
No. The product model is capability-based rather than vendor-based. NVIDIA CUDA, AMD ROCm and Apple Silicon Metal/MLX devices are represented in the current demo. Other runtimes can be added when they meet model and verification requirements.
Will every device run every model?
No. Model compatibility depends on memory, runtime, architecture, precision, performance and quality requirements. The router should assign only compatible work.
Can I keep using my device locally?
Yes. The intended host client uses owner-defined idle windows. A user workload should take priority, and the host can pause participation at any time.
Credit income
Where does Credit income come from?
Credit income represents paid inference work completed and settled by a host node. The dashboard records the model, job, node, time and amount for each entry.
What is the minimum withdrawal?
The frontend preview uses a minimum of USD 10.00. Final settlement methods, fees, eligibility and identity requirements will be published before production.
MMGA rewards
Can a host earn when no inference job is available?
Eligible ready-time can receive MMGA rewards even when short-term inference demand is zero. This is separate from inference Credit and is shown in a distinct ledger.
Which network is MMGA on?
MMGA is planned as a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain. The frontend can connect a BSC-compatible browser wallet, but the current demo does not broadcast transactions.
Where is the contract address?
No production contract address is published in this demo. Users should not trust or purchase a token based on an unofficial address. The verified address and audit information must be published through official MineAPI channels before activation.
Security and privacy
Does a host see my API prompt?
Inference requires a node to process request inputs, so production privacy controls and disclosure must be model-specific and explicit. The project should not claim end-to-end confidentiality without a verifiable technical mechanism.
Does the demo move real money?
No. Accounts, balances, payout bindings and withdrawals in this frontend are simulated and stored locally in the browser.
