How model pricing works
MineAPI prices each model according to the unit that best represents its work. Video generation is billed by generated video seconds and adjusted linearly for denoising steps. Text and reasoning models are billed by token volume.

MiniMax H3 video
MineAPI specializes in distributed video-model inference. MiniMax H3 has three quality and precision tiers:

The tier rate is not a per-step charge. A tier’s published rate applies at its reference number of denoising steps.
H3 cost = generated seconds × tier rate × requested steps / reference steps
For example, a 10-second Basic generation at 20 steps costs $0.020. The same generation at 30 steps scales linearly to $0.030.
Text and reasoning models
Qwen3.8 and DeepSeek use token-based preview rates. Select the corresponding model type above and enter the expected token volume to see the estimate.
Text-model rates remain preview values until the production API and billing service are connected. The production reference will distinguish input, cached-input and output tokens when the commercial schedule requires it.
Credit and billing
API requests consume USD-denominated MineAPI Credit. The estimated cost is shown before submission, while final settlement is based on the accepted request parameters and completed usage.
- No monthly minimum in the current pricing design.
- Usage is deducted from the unified account Credit balance.
- Failed jobs should not be charged as successful inference.
- Pricing and job history will be visible in the Dashboard.
Price Match Guarantee
Bring a qualified competing API bill to the MineAPI sales team. MineAPI will review equivalent model, quality, duration, steps, availability and volume terms and aims to beat any qualified comparable price.
Price matching requires a like-for-like workload comparison and is not automatically applied by the frontend calculator.
