The following API is an interface preview. Base URLs, model identifiers, schemas and rates may change before the backend becomes available.

Base URL

All preview examples use a versioned HTTPS endpoint.

https://api.mineapi.demo/v1

Requests and responses use JSON. Long-running video generation is represented as an asynchronous job that can be polled or delivered to a webhook.

Authentication

Send your API key as a bearer token. API keys belong to the unified MineAPI account and can be managed from the future developer console.

curl https://api.mineapi.demo/v1/models \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MINEAPI_KEY"

Never expose a secret API key in frontend JavaScript. Call MineAPI from your server and issue only the minimum response data required by your application.

Create an H3 job

Create an asynchronous MiniMax H3 video generation job:

curl -X POST https://api.mineapi.demo/v1/video/generations \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MINEAPI_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "minimax-h3",
    "tier": "basic",
    "prompt": "A quiet satellite drifting above a blue planet",
    "duration_seconds": 10,
    "denoising_steps": 20,
    "aspect_ratio": "16:9"
  }'

Example response:

{
  "id": "job_h3_8e14",
  "status": "queued",
  "model": "minimax-h3",
  "estimated_cost": {
    "amount": "0.0200",
    "currency": "USD_CREDIT"
  },
  "created_at": "2026-08-31T09:42:18Z"
}

Retrieve the latest job state with GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}.

Job states

StateDescription
queuedValidated and waiting for a compatible node
runningAccepted by a host and currently processing
succeededOutput validated and ready to retrieve
failedTerminal error; inspect the error object
cancelledCancelled before terminal completion

Clients should treat unknown states as non-terminal and apply exponential backoff when polling.

Pricing fields

For H3 video tiers, the current frontend calculator uses:

estimated cost = seconds × tier rate × requested steps / reference steps
TierPreview rateReference steps
Basic$0.002 / video second20
Pro$0.008 / video second30
Full BF16$0.020 / video second50

The response estimate should be treated as authoritative for the submitted request once the production billing service exists.

Errors

Errors use a consistent envelope with a machine-readable code and a request identifier.

{
  "error": {
    "code": "insufficient_credit",
    "message": "Add Credit before creating this job.",
    "request_id": "req_29f1c8"
  }
}

Use the request identifier when contacting support. Do not retry validation or authentication failures without changing the request.
